On-Line Bill Payment
Egyptian Electric now offers on-line bill payment with either a credit card or electronic check. You may also sign up for recurring bank draft (we will send you either a paper or electronic bill depending on your preference) or for electronic e-billing, eliminating paper and mailing costs.
You may access the e-bill and Customer Service System through this link or from the home page of our Web site.
Here is what you will find and be able to do on-line:
- Pay your bill via credit card
- Pay your bill via an e-check
- Request that paper bills stop being sent to you
- View current and past payments
- View and print current and past bills
- View and print charts about your energy usage
- Service your account
- Change mailing address and/or phone number
To set up your account the first time, you will need the name on your account and the account number. The account number is in the top right hand corner of your billing statement. To begin the sign up process, click on the hot link near the bottom of the CSS screen that says “Click Here to sign up for online account access.”
The next page will ask you to input your last name (or the name of the business or organization), the account number, e-mail address and a password. The last name and account number must match what is on your bill statement. In addition, the password is case sensitive and the confirm password must match the password input. Once these have been input, the next time you visit the site you will only need to input your e-mail address and password.
