Annual Meeting

Members of Egyptian Electric Cooperative have a direct voice in the way their cooperative operates by attending the Cooperative's Annual Meeting of the Members. The 75th Annual Meeting will be Thursday, July 25, 2013, at 7:00 p.m. at the Steeleville American Legion Hall.

Highlights of the meeting included a message from the President, a financial report from the Secretary-Treasurer and an address from the Executive Vice President/General Manager. Three members will be elected to serve on the Board of Directors for three year terms.

The meeting features a light meal (hot dogs, chips, soda and ice cream bar) in the Legion park. Entertainment will be in the Legion's large hall. During the business meeting, there willa children's program in the Legion Bowl for the children of members . 

All members will receive an official notice of the date and time of the annual meeting in the July Illinois Country Living magazine. All registered members receive a $10 electric credit plus an attendance gift. There will be a random drawing for three $1000 scholarships at the close of the meeting.
